2025 in Review: Content-First Strategy, Connection, and Innovation

As 2025 comes to a close, our team is taking time to celebrate an extraordinary year. From incredible industry events to groundbreaking projects, we were delighted to be part of major transformations in passenger communication this year.

Keep reading for a look at some of our favorite moments.

Synect Set the Stage at CES 2025.

We started the year off with a bang at CES 2025, where we joined our friends from the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) to showcase ReadySeeGo Vision, our award-winning solution for security checkpoints.

Featured at TSA’s booth and in their Checkpoint Requirements and Planning Guide, ReadySeeGo demonstrates the impact dynamic content has on the passenger experience. Just-in-time updates and glance-and-go action cards help passengers prepare for the dynamic checkpoint environment, making it easier for them to self-divest and prepare for screening. Queues move more quickly, throughput increases, and passengers are happier.

Our experience at CES outlined a key theme for the year: better communication creates better passenger experiences.

Facing the Future of FIDS at FTE Global

FTE Global is one of the most exciting events of the year, and we returned to the stage with our visionary panel, “Smarter Signage Starts Here: Strategy, Content, and Systems that Deliver.” We had the honor of hosting some of the most forward-thinking members of our industry:

  • Faith Varwig, founder and managing principal of Faith Group, moderator

  • Yahav Ran, CEO of Synect

  • Prasad Yarlagadda, AVP of Enterprise Systems at DFW

  • Ian Birnbaum, Project Manager at Burns Engineering

Their message was clear: the era of standalone systems is coming to a close. Airports need smart, flexible communication ecosystems that can create better passenger experiences across their facilities. Clear content, consistent branding, and endless configuration and integration options are all possible with Synect’s Passenger360, the only digital content management system (DCMS) designed for airports.

As Synect’s CEO, Yahav Ran, said at FTE Global:

“We’re looking for tangible outcomes. Whether in revenue, efficiency, or reputation, the key to all of those things is communication.”

Sharing Ideas that Shape the Future

FTE was an incredible capstone to a year of industry events that helped us connect with our friends, peers, and clients.

From Halifax to San Antonio to Houston to Atlanta to Toronto, our team had a whirlwind year of events and industry learning! We loved every trip and found endless inspiration from the conversations we had along the way.

Major Milestones in Airport Innovation

Synect is always helping our clients push the boundaries of airport communication, and this year brought many exciting launches.

Annie’s Airport Journey at MCO

Orlando International Airport (MCO) is known for their industry-leading innovations, and their new security checkpoint experience is raising the bar.

Their beloved mascot, Annie the Astronaut, stars in her own adventure through the airport, “turning wait times into engaging, informative moments for passengers.” Two massive video walls show her journey through a digital version of MCO, hand-built by Synect’s Orlando-based team. The “immersive, 3D experience” blends real-time data, strategic storytelling, and airport-specific easter eggs to make lines feel shorter and help passengers prepare for an unforgettable journey.

Even Better, Even Faster Security Checkpoints

Our ongoing collaboration with TSA has brought the newest version of the checkpoint to life.

TSA Pre-Check screens display security guidelines in an airport. Instructions include removing shoes and liquid restrictions. Officer nearby.

Two new ReadySeeGo form factors support passengers at every step of the checkpoint. ReadySeeGo Glance is a small-format, high-impact display that can be placed anywhere in the checkpoint to deliver just-in-time reminders for passengers, while ReadySeeGo Focus is designed to support passengers by delivering audio and visual instructions to streamline divestment. Partnered with the classic, impossible-to-miss ReadySeeGo Vision, these tools create a connected checkpoint experience that’s calmer, clearer, and more enjoyable.

Looking Ahead to 2026

Across every event and engagement this year, one theme was clear: content strategy is essential, not optional.

As airports move beyond legacy systems and embrace smart, scalable solutions, they’re building new ways to leverage content that unifies communication, improves operations, and enhances their passenger experience. Leading airports are proving that strategic content and communication drive key results: happier passengers, stronger brands, and higher non-aeronautical revenue.

The future of airport communication is as bright as it is busy. As the country prepares to celebrate a multitude of major events and passenger volumes continue to climb, demand for flexible, future-ready systems is higher than ever.

Synect is proud to lead the way with solutions that make every screen smarter, every message clearer, and every journey better.

Thank you to all of our wonderful partners, clients, and colleagues for making 2025 an unforgettable year.
